Goal: To find a mechanical engineering design position within a fast paced, fast changing environment that challenges me and provides ample opportunity for growth/learning. (Currently not looking but always interested in "talking")

Short Background: I have worked in several industries: Medical (Cepheid), Consumer Electronics (Apple Inc), Telecom (Centellax Inc. & Agilent Technologies) and IT (UCLA). I have held a barrage of positions ranging from operator (my soldering skills are out of this world!) to design engineer. My design experience is primarily in the design of injection molded plastic parts (snap fits, intentional failure mechanisms, ultrasonic welding, automation features, fluid delivery systems, laser processing, etc); cast, machined and sheet metal parts with some exposure to automation.
